HOW DO I KNOW WHAT’S COVERED?
- Covered services are listed on your insurance’s charge schedule. This also shows you if any money is due for your services. Patient charges and/or co-payments are due for some or all procedures depending on your insurance schedule. We will be happy to review any patient charges prior to your treatment.
IF THERE IS A COST, HOW IS IT HANDLED?
- Your Patient Charge Schedule lists procedures that require payment, which is due at the time the service is provided. Please be sure you have some method of payment available. If several visits are required to complete treatment, our dental office will design a treatment and payment plan so you can budget accordingly. We offer several methods of payment, including the ability to finance larger treatments. We will be happy to review these options prior to your treatment.
WHAT IF I NEED A SPECIALIST?
- We will evaluate your dental conditions and make a referral. Charges for a specialist are the ones shown on your charge schedule.
TO GET THE MOST FROM YOUR DENTAL PLAN.
- TALK WITH MY STAFF. They are excellent at answering questions, explaining dental treatments and discussing options regarding your treatment plan. The more you understand the better decisions you and I can make together.
- TALK WITH YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY. All insurance companies have a member services department. They will be more than happy to help you understand your policy. Understanding your dental insurance will make it easier for you to make informed decisions.
